The cancellation charge is calculated as the difference between the total you have paid under the Rental Plan in question, and the total amount that would have been due if you were only renting up to the date that you wish to cancel. Please note, shorter rental periods have higher rates so this figure will be unlikely to be proportionate to your existing Monthly Fee pro rata. To learn what your cancellation charge would be, please contact us and we will provide it for you.\n\nIf you cancel at any time between delivery and the Minimum Rental Period, then you will be liable for the full cost of the return delivery or shipping of your item.\n\nUpon receipt of the funds and the item, your Rental Plan will be terminated and no further Monthly Fees will be taken. If the item is not returned in this timeframe, the Rental Plan will resume with the missed payment being immediately taken and Monthly Fees will continue until the item is received.\n\n ","Late Fee for Fixed Term Rentals","If your item is not returned by the date you selected as your return date, your rental will automatically continue, and you will be charged on a daily basis until the item is returned or deemed lost.\n\nDaily Rate: The daily rental rate will be calculated based on what the cost would have been had you selected a longer rental period at checkout. For example, if extending your rental from 10 days to 14 days, your daily charge will reflect this adjusted rate.\n\nOngoing Billing: Billing will continue until one of the following occurs:\n\nThe item is returned to Stork Rentals and received in acceptable condition.\n\nThe item is deemed lost or unreturned after 30 days, at which point you will be charged the full replacement value, less any fees already paid.\n\nPayment: Charges will either be taken automatically from your saved payment method, or will be invoiced and payable within 48 hours. By accepting these terms, you consent to Stork Rentals continuing to charge you in this manner.\n\nIf you anticipate any delay in returning the item, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid any confusion or additional charges.","Late Fee for Rolling Rentals","If your item is not returned by the end of your Rental Plan, including the 5-day grace period following your Billing Date, your rental will automatically continue and you will be charged at the same rate as your current plan until the earlier of (a) the item being returned or (b) the expiry of the 3-month maximum Rental Plan. At that point, the agreement terminates and the item must be returned.\n\n5-Day Grace Period: If the item is returned within 5 days of your next Billing Date, the next Monthly Fee will be automatically refunded.\n\nPayment: Charges will either be taken automatically from your saved payment method, or will be invoiced and payable within 48 hours. By accepting these terms, you consent to Stork Rentals continuing to charge you in this manner.\n\n ","The end of the Contract","When the Minimum Rental Period has ended, your rental will automatically continue on a monthly basis unless you notify us that you would like to end the contract at the end of the Minimum Rental Period. However, all Rental Plans are capped at a maximum of three (3) months in total. At the end of this maximum period, the agreement will terminate automatically, and the item must be returned. You will receive an email in advance of the maximum rental period notifying you of your upcoming return. You must notify us of your intent to cancel the contract no later than 5pm (BST) on the working day prior to your next Billing Date. Your next payment will come out on the normal Billing Date if we have not received your item back before the Billing Date. However, we do allow a 5 day transit period, and this payment will be refunded if we receive the item back within 5 days of the Billing Date. \n\nOnce the Item is returned, your Rental Plan has ended and no further Monthly Fees will be taken for the Item in question.\n\nIf an item is not returned, your rental will continue and you will be charged at your usual Monthly Fee until the earlier of (a) the item being returned, or (b) the expiry of the 3-month maximum Rental Plan. After that point, the agreement will automatically terminate and the item must be returned.\n\n","Return Packagain ","Please make sure you keep your box to return your item in. Any discarded boxes will be subject to a replacement box fee. This will simply be the additional cost to us to replace the box and any further shipping costs we might incur.\n\nAny problems just let us know at info@storkrentals.ie","Return Collections","At the end of the rental period, you are responsible for ensuring that all hired items are returned to us in the condition they were received (allowing for fair wear and tear).\n\nWhere we arrange a courier collection on your behalf, you must make reasonable efforts to facilitate the return, including but not limited to:\n\nMaking the items available for collection within a reasonable timeframe and window;\n\nBeing available during the agreed collection slot;\n\nFollowing return instructions provided (e.g. packaging the item and applying a label where required, unless otherwise agreed);\n\nCooperating with reasonable alternative collection methods, such as longer time windows or drop-off points, where standard collections have failed.\n\nWe work with trusted third-party couriers to make collections as seamless as possible. However, once a collection is booked, it is managed by the courier directly. This means we’re not able to guarantee exact collection times, nor can we accept liability for delays, missed pickups, or courier errors outside our control.\n\nIf a collection fails, we’ll work with you and the courier to resolve the issue, rebook the collection, or explore alternative solutions such as using a different courier, offering a drop-off option, or finding another workaround that suits you.\n\nHowever, if you decline multiple reasonable options - such as a longer collection window, a different courier, or a drop-off - we may treat the item as unreturned.\n\nIf an item is not returned due to refusal to cooperate with reasonable return arrangements, or if item is knowingly allowed the item to be lost, stolen, or disposed of (e.g. by leaving it in a location where it is likely to be removed), we reserves the right to charge the customer up to the full replacement value of the item.\n\nWe will not be liable for any charges incurred by the customer as a result of failed collection attempts caused by the customer’s unavailability or failure to follow agreed instructions.\n\nYou can review our Returns Terms & Conditions here. ","Packaging","We reuse boxes where we can. That means the box your item arrives in might not look brand new, but rest assured, it’s always clean, secure, and perfect for protecting your item. This reduces unnecessary waste and keeps Baboodle as sustainable as possible. It also keeps the price of your items as low as they can be (boxes are expensive!).\n\n","Checking your item on arrival","All Stork Rentals items are thoroughly inspected and cleaned prior to dispatch to ensure they are safe, hygienic, and in good working order. We kindly ask that you inspect the item upon delivery to confirm it meets your expectations and is free from any damage or defects.\n\nIf you notice any issues or are dissatisfied with the condition of the item, you must notify us at info@storkrentals.ie within 48 hours of receiving the item and before using it. This allows us to address the issue promptly and ensures transparency for both parties.\n\nBy using the item, you confirm that you have inspected it and accept it as being in satisfactory condition for use. Once the item has been used, it will be deemed to have been accepted in the condition in which it was received.\n\nThis process helps us maintain high standards and fairness for all Stork Rentals members.","Delivery","Delivery of the item marks the beginning of your Minimum Rental Period. The item will be delivered upon successful payment of your first Monthly Fee plus any associated delivery charges displayed at checkout. There is no fee charged for the period between checkout and the delivery date.\n\nLead Times and Delivery Dates\nWe always aim to ship your order to arrive with you on your preferred delivery date. However, our delivery times are dependent on the availability of stock and the courier partners we use, and we cannot guarantee delivery on the specified date. Delays may occur due to stock availability or third-party courier delays, which are beyond our control. If your item does not arrive on your preferred delivery date, you will still be bound by the terms of this contract. For this reason, we always advise allowing sufficient lead time when selecting your delivery date.","Pre-Rental Checks","In order to protect ourselves, and our existing members, we perform pre-rental checks on new members. \n\nOne of these checks is a search of your record at credit reference agencies. This is a 'soft search' and won’t impact your credit score. By accepting these terms and conditions you accept that there will be a credit check carried out using your personal information. You can read more about our credit checks here. \n\nWe endeavour to carry out these checks as quickly as possible, and will always aim to let you know within three working days if we are unable to fulfil your order. Sometimes we will contact you with a request for further documentation if we are unable to verify your information.\n\nWe reserve the right the reject orders for any reason in order to prevent fraud and to manage our business risk.","The Rental Item","Condition: All Stork Rentals items are carefully selected and maintained to ensure they are safe, clean, and fully functional. As part of our commitment to sustainability, many items are gently used. This means you may notice small signs of wear, but nothing that affects safety, performance, or overall appearance.\n\nWear and Tear: Reasonable wear and tear is expected during the rental period. This includes minor cosmetic scuffs or signs of use that naturally occur with careful handling. Excessive damage, neglect, or misuse may result in repair or replacement charges, as outlined in our Loss and Damage policy.\n\nItem Colours: While we make every effort to display product colours accurately on our website, we cannot guarantee that the colour you receive will exactly match what is shown. Variations may occur due to lighting, screen settings, or stock availability. By renting with Stork Rentals, you acknowledge and accept that the item delivered may differ slightly in colour from the images provided.\n\nPackaging: To reduce waste and keep costs affordable for our customers, we reuse packaging materials whenever possible. This includes shipping boxes, protective wrap, and other packing supplies. While packaging may not always appear brand new, it is always clean, secure, and fit for purpose.\n\n ","Ownership","Commencement of a Rental Plan does not constitute a change of ownership of the goods Stork Rentals to the customer. The equipment is not to be used as security in any manner.\n\nAs long as all payments are made inline with the terms set out in this Agreement and no default has occurred, we will not disturb your quiet and peaceful possession of the Equipment or your unrestricted use of the Equipment for the purpose for which the Equipment was designed.","The Lease","Stork Rentals is leasing you equipment in accordance with the terms set out in this Agreement. You agree to uphold your obligations of any Rental Plan which you commit to on the website. If you enter into a rental plan you are obliged to pay your Monthly Fees for your Minimum Rental Period. Stork Rentals has the right to cancel a contract and refund the payment before dispatch of the goods if they decide that the customer has not met their minimum verification requirements or if the item is out of stock. The Lease commences on the date you make your first payment to Stork Rentals and will continue until the end of the agreed Rental Plan, which is capped at a maximum of three (3) months from delivery, unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Agreement.","Changes to the Terms","We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time but the most current version will always be at https://baboodle.co.uk/pages/terms-conditions.\n\n ","By creating a Stork Rentals account or entering into any form of transaction with Stork Rentals, you are agreeing to these terms of service. You agree that an account will be made for you with Stripe using the same details, in order to allow you to use the Stork Rentals service. Stripe handles the payments of your transaction.\n\n ","The Platform","Means the Stork Rentals website at www.storkrentals.ie and www.storkrentals.es\n\n ","Rental Plan","Refers to the agreement to rent an item from Stork Rentals which you enter into by transacting to rent through the Stork Rentals website. Rental Plans are for a minimum of 1 month where the rental is not a 'one-off' or holiday rental, and capped at a maximum of 3 months in total. Where a customer does not actively cancel at the end of the minimum term, the Rental Plan will continue on a monthly basis up to the 3-month maximum.\n\n ","Monthly Fee","The Monthly Fee is the amount you pay each month in exchange for renting the item during the Rental Period. It is payable monthly in advance. The amount due is laid out during the checkout process on the Platform, and also in the confirmation email you receive once you’ve transacted. The first Monthly Fee is taken at the point of checkout. The second Monthly Fee is taken one calendar month after the item is delivered and subsequent Monthly Fees are taken on the same date each month thereafter.","Cancellation Policy","Short Term / Holiday Rentals\nWe refund, in full, all cancellations up to 24 hours before collection time. After that we refund the security deposit only and the rental charge applies.\n\nMonthly / Flexible Rentals\nThe cancellation charge is the amount you must pay when ending your Rental Plan early, if you have committed to a fixed term. It is calculated as the difference between the total you have paid under the Rental Plan in question so far, and the total amount that would have been due if you were only renting up to the date that you wish to cancel.\n\nFor example: you have rented a pram for 3 months at a cost of €40 a month. The cost to rent the pram for 1 months is €50 a month. If you choose to cancel after 1 month, the Cancellation Charge would be the difference in the monthly fee multiplied by the number of months you have rented the pram for. In this instance it would be €50 - €40 = €10 * 1 month = €10.\n","Minimum Rental Period","The Minimum Rental Period is the time you choose to rent the item for. You select this timeframe at checkout and is confirmed in the confirmation email you receive upon completion of the transaction.\n\n ","Billing Date","The Billing Date is the date of each calendar month that the Monthly Fee will be due, excluding the first Monthly Fee which happens at the point of checkout. This date is determined by the day of the month in which the item is delivered, and remains the same day of each month thereafter unless changed under the terms of this agreement.",{"_42":609},[610,611,612,613,614],{"_13":672,"_615":673},{"_13":658,"_615":659},{"_13":457,"_615":645},{"_13":631,"_615":632},{"_13":469,"_615":616},"faqs",[617,618,619,620],{"_621":629,"_623":630},{"_621":627,"_623":628},{"_621":625,"_623":626},{"_621":622,"_623":624},"question","What happens if I need to extend my rental?","answer","Contact us at least 24 hours before your return date to request an extension.
